- In Grades 8, the only choices are between Afrikaans OR Setswana as First Additional Language, and Drama OR Music OR Visual Arts. There are no minimum requirements for Music, but pupils will need to complete a music listening skills test. The rest of the subjects mentioned above are compulsory.

All subject choices change yearly, based on demand.
Music and Further Studies Mathematics, Further Studies Physics are extra subjects for Grade 10, 11, and 12.
In Grade 11 and 12, pupils may choose Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy.
